Why it exists
The system of record is rarely the problem.
Most regulated manufacturers already record a great deal. Issues get logged. Inspections get completed. Actions get closed. The difficulty appears later, when somebody who was not there asks to see one thread of it — and the answer has to be assembled from a spreadsheet, a document system, a checklist app and somebody’s memory of a meeting.
Assembly is where confidence goes. Not because anyone is dishonest, but because the parts were never designed to fit and the person doing the assembling is working from what survived.
So the product was built around the awkward question rather than the happy path. If a record cannot be produced, whole, months later, to somebody sceptical, then holding it was not much use.
How we build
Four decisions that shaped the product.
A field that says “completed” is a claim. A photograph, a measurement or a signed check is evidence. Where the two conflict, the platform asks for evidence.
The person who did the work cannot be the person who confirms it worked. It is the control auditors probe first, so it is built in rather than configurable.
An audit record committed before the change cannot be tidied up afterwards. Recording it after the fact is easier to build and worth much less.
A platform cannot validate itself on your behalf, cannot write your procedures for you, and is tamper-evident rather than tamper-proof. Being exact about that boundary is what makes the rest credible.

Operations and quality leaders in regulated industries.
Sites of roughly 100 to 2,000 people, across Europe, under GMP, ISO 13485, BRCGS, IFS, GDP, ISO 9001 or ISO 45001 — usually more than one at once.
The people who buy it have generally been sold a quality system before, and watched it go unused because it was built for the audit rather than for the shift. That scepticism is reasonable. It is why the platform is judged on whether operators actually complete work in it, not on the length of the feature list.
